Cancellation Policy

Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our providers, but our other patients as

well. We are trying hard to avoid charges. Please be aware of our policy regarding late, cancelled, missed or late for appointments.

Appointment Cancellation

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. In order to be respectful of your fellow patients and of us, please go any time to our on line scheduler, call, or text our office mobile at 416-994-1030 as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.

If cancellation is necessary, we require at least 24 hrs notice

A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. If you are late for your service, we request that you call or text and let us know that you are on your way and how late you expect to be. If you arrive late with no notice we may not be able to accommodate you and the late cancellation policy may or may not be applied. We will do our very best to reschedule your service for another time that is convenient to you.

Policy

The first time you miss an appointment, we will make a note in your file. The second time we request full payment at the time the following appointment is booked and direct billing privileges will no longer apply unless you settle that second missed appointment with a charge of 50% of the value of the missed appointment. For new patients’ first appointments, a no show or late cancellation will result in a full charge of the new patient fee.

We know your time is valuable as well, so we do our best to cut times in waiting room. Keep an eye on your phone the hour before your appointment time. If we are running behind we will do our best to inform you.
